Quick fix for a bug that was introduced in v0.41. Compared to 0.41, the only modified files are the files in the root folder.
Whats new? 08 Feb 2005 - v0.42 (beta) --------------------------
- fix: Kills not getting counted during "single team" gametypes (death match) in some games (q3a,rtcw,wet,sof2). This bug was introduced in 0.41 when the Call of Duty kill/teamkill issue was fixed.

Sry, but the Problem isn`t fixed. I`m german, my english ist not so good. I make the Upgrade but in DM (COD) is the Problem the same. look at my TKThx.

nevermind. your team kill/death seems high? Check in your log file and see if you really dont have all those teamkills etc. And if you can provide me with the log of the game where team kills / kills arent detected properly, I can take a look at it.

Please, look at this : today`s gameI go from the Server with 49 kills / 46 Death Richthofen has 59 Kills to 41 death In the Stats is this not korrekt written. You have great Stats made, but this is a little failure. Logfiledownload

i took a look at the log. specifically from the last (3485:51 InitGame: to 3516:01 ShutdownGame: ). The gametype for that is supposed to be DM but the information in the log has some players in allies team and some players in axis team which I dont understand why. So I dont think this problem can be fixed..probably a bug in the cod logging. Unless you can explain why some players are logged as team axis. ex:- 3493:37 K;504126;8;axis;^3.:^2|^3TBC^2|^3:.d0s;537081;0;allies;^1F4^1O^7|^3Ragnarius;thompson_mp;30;MOD_PISTOL_BULLET;right_arm_upper

Unfortunately I do not have an answer. On the last map was neither I nor arranging directing toward Axisseite. Unfortunate if one the problem not to solve can. But thanks nevertheless for your assistance.

sry, i misunderstood your last question. I think, they want play on Axissite with the Axisweapon. Its a problem when one Person in a discussion can`t speak the language.

But there is hardly an explanation. I think that is probably a question of the personal taste.  Question: One cannot insert an instruction how: If player in Deathmatch then Teamkill = Kill I`m unfortunately no Coder

hehe what you said sounds funny when translated to english  . not quite sure what it meant. anyways I'm not asking for instructions on how I can code this but from a player's perspective how can a player in a death match game be logged as Axis? If it is a reproducable COD logging bug I could ofcourse just write a work around for this. But I have to be sure it happens all the time. I havent seen this in other logs for death match games. You are the first person to report this problem. Is this an actual valid game play event or just a bug in the cod engine? I have not played cod at all so I have no idea. So unless someone can explain this properly as to why this is happening I cant write a fix for it.

I think, now i have a plan what do you mean. In COD DM you can play all the Time both Sides. Some Players are playing Axis, some Allies. Some Time playing all Allies. Thats was i mean with personal taste. When you loaded my log you can see that and you see some games with TDM.
I hope, i make you not angry with my Question. And thx for your working and coding!!! Unfortunately i can`t take your Script. The generell usage of my stats are wrong.
I thank you again for everything and hope you find a way the statistics for COD sometime to make runable. Then I will very gladly use it.

That still is confusing to me. I know thats the way it is in TDM. But the problem we found is in just regular DM. same problem here... the call of duty logfile makes no difference betwen "team deathmatch" or "deathmatch". in both gametyp the logging entry can be: [1]allies team member kill axis team member [2]axis team member kill allies team member [3]axis team member kill axis team member [4]allies team member kill allies team member the last both [3], [4] are to bee rated in "team deathmatch" as teamkill, however in deathmatch not. VSP stats makes no difference between the gametypes. so every player in in deathmatch will earn teamkills even for valid kills (because in deathmatch there exist no things like "teamkill" )

alright, here is a test version with this bug fixed. You need to have version 0.42 installed from the main site. Then extract the following file to the same directory, overwriting the existing files. http://www.clanavl.com/vsp/0.42(+)-vsp-test-dm.ziplet me know how it goes.
